Bistro Lapin

One of my favorite places to eat now! Get the vegetable medley and the mushroom appetizer. Those are a must but everything else is amazing. This is a step up from la duree.

We had a very nice meal at Bistro Pierre Lapin. I love classic French food and was thrilled to see the menu here. The frog legs were a very pleasant appetizer, and I could have drank a bowl of the butter they were with.The star of the meal was the pommes aligot, we haven't stopped taking about these cheese with potatoes. I wish I was reading them right now.

Chef Harold Moore puts on a show at Bistro Pierre Lapin, bringing upscale French fare from the past few decades back to the forefront. The pork chop au poivre and large format leg of lamb (must be ordered at least 24 hours advance) are out of this world, as are the frog legs. Everything on the menu is great, and you really can't go wrong - it's perfect for a date or other occasions, in the heart of the west village.
